Collective Leadership
We coach, facilitate and consult to individual leaders, their team and whole organisational systems on an inclusive, participatory and transparent basis.
We tailor each intervention to enliven the performance, vision, identity and ethics of those involved whilst achieving the maximum transfer of skills into the organisation.
We believe many of the problems we face in organisations today are too complex for any one individual to solve on their own. What is called for is collective leadership, whereby everyone can lead from wherever they are in an organisation.
To demonstrate collective leadership, groups of individuals need to learn how to think and talk together – without going into breakdown, avoidance or polarisation. We have developed a powerful set of models and tools to equip leaders to create the conditions that enable people to have the necessary conversations at the right time.
We have been researching this territory in a wide range of organisations and find that there are four key fields of collective thinking that we believe are necessary for success - namely performance, wisdom, visionary and citizen conversations. In each of these areas we have begun to map distinct levels of skill and development along with the thresholds to be crossed to reach a new level of effectiveness.
