Why Dialogue?
We believe dialogue can transform not only the way people work together but also the relationships between the people in them - and the relationships between organisations and society.
In order for people to work together productively, it is necessary for them to talk and think together effectively. If there are many stakeholders with different perspectives and issues are complex and changing, dialogue becomes vital.
Without dialogue, decisions are often made in a dark room or no decisions are taken. Formal meetings are then about ratifying decisions or forcing people into compliance.
The consequences of not getting the right people in the right conversation at the right time can be serious. They can include financial, human, material, emotional costs which can add up to be astronomical.
Bringing people together to talk about the issues that matter most to them can save valuable time and resources. People can develop a solution whereby there are no winners and losers but everyone benefits. Getting people into generative dialogue is our business – and we’d like to help make it yours.
